CATARIS Urban Pod

    CATARIS Urban Pod is an organic public seating shelter designed to foster coexistence between humans and urban animals. Its sculptural form provides shaded, naturally ventilated seating for two users, with a secure lower alcove dedicated to stray cat feeding.

    Constructed from fiber-reinforced concrete, the pod ensures durability in outdoor environments. A removable recycled-fiber rope net supports cat interaction and easy maintenance, while acoustic PET panels made from recycled plastic enhance interior comfort. A solar-integrated roof powers energy-efficient LED lighting, enabling off-grid operation. Through passive cooling and sustainable material choices, CATARIS functions as a resilient, inclusive urban micro-infrastructure.
